- Fall gardens are brimming with color and the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn from lush greens to brilliant hues of red, yellow and orange in preparation for the cold winter ahead. For those of you that are not so thrilled about the recent change in weather... Don't knock it! Nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in awhile:)
- Make sure your soil drainage is adequate. Fall gardens are more often damaged by to much moisture than frost.
- Harvest peas and broccoli from your fall garden after a light frost for best flavor.
